About Mariachi Las Olas de Santa Barbara
Large and small ensembles available for a multitude of occasions including weddings, quinceañeras, memorials, anniversaries and other special days. Extensive repertoire ranging from traditional Ranchera to arrangements of contemporary popular music.
Band Director Juan Zaragoza is a U.C.S.B. alumni. Las Olas is a manifestation of his ongoing community work to keep the tradition of Mariachi music alive in Santa Barbara.
Make your fiesta party a lasting memory with a live mariachi ensemble scaled to fit your venue. Multiple sizes of ensembles are available. Treat your loved one on their birthday with a Mariachi serenade of Las Mañanitas followed up with their favorite love song.

Mariachi las Olas is dedicated to preserving Mariachi heritage in Santa Barbara and surrounding communities.
Examples of typical modalities we play are Rancheras, Sones, and Boleros. but we are always open to special requests and often venture into arrangements of American popular music.
The type of event will set the tone of the music recommended. For example, Ave Maria is a popular selection for Weddings and other formal ceremonies and El Mariachi Loco is a much requested after party selection.
